Doug Pace is a strategist, operator, and entrepreneur known for helping organizations solve complex problems and navigate periods of significant change. Throughout his career, governments, private equity firms, and Fortune 1000 executives have sought his expertise to lead high-stakes initiatives, accelerate transformation, and address challenges where execution is critical and the margin for error is small. His approach combines design thinking, operational discipline, and practical innovation to deliver results in environments where complexity and uncertainty are the norm.
Doug has advised organizations through some of their most consequential opportunities. His experience includes leading post-merger integration efforts for transactions valued at more than $1 billion, supporting statewide pandemic response initiatives, coordinating recovery efforts following major hurricanes, guiding organizations through significant cybersecurity incidents, and leading large-scale critical infrastructure programs. More recently, he has helped organizations leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies to improve performance and prepare for the future. He is recognized for his ability to bring together executives, technical experts, and frontline teams to solve difficult problems, restore momentum, and deliver results when the stakes are highest.
As CEO of Stonehill, Doug leads a team of strategists, technologists, designers, and operators who help organizations identify opportunity, create change, and accelerate growth. Stonehill has been recognized by the United States Chamber of Commerce as Emerging Business of the Year and Insight Magazine Design leader of the Year. Doug has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by the American Business Awards and by Consulting Magazine as one of the 75 Most Influential Consultants in the United States.
Doug currently serves on the boards of numerous schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations and has held leadership roles with organizations including the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council, the Lions Eye Institute, and the Town of Belleair Infrastructure Committee. He graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in economics, was recognized with an Executive Fellowship in Innovation from the University of South Florida and holds a certificate in Energy Innovation from Stanford University.
