Stonehill Selected as Finalist for the 2020 Sustainable Business Awards

(April 21, 2020) - Stonehill announced it has been selected as a finalist for the 2020 Sustainable Business Awards. The Sustainable Business Awards honors companies and organizations in the Tampa Bay area for their commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship. The winners will be selected by a third-party panel comprised of graduate students attending sustainability programs at local universities under the direction of faculty. The Sustany Foundation will be hosting their 12th Annual Sustainable Business Awards Green Carpet Gala on September 16th at the Historic Tampa Theatre.

The Sustany Foundation opens nominations in January for the Sustainable Business awards and received over 100 nominations this year. The Sustany Foundation encourages the public to nominate local businesses and organizations who are leading the way with sustainable practices. Nominees are judged on their efforts in the three pillars of the triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit. Some of the previous winners for the Sustainable Business Awards include The Florida Aquarium, Publix, Tampa International Airport, and Raymond James.
